Welcome to the OpenNyAI Maker Residency, a 5-day residency designed for innovators and changemakers in the Law and Justice space. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before applying and attending the Maker Residency. By participating in the Maker Residency, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. Wherever we use "Agami" to refer to ourselves, we are legally registered as "Vayam Forum for Citizenship".

1. Maker Residency Details:

   1. The Maker Residency will be held in Kochi, India. Selected cohort members are required to travel to Kochi to attend the Residency.

   2. The Maker Residency is a 5-day program. Attendance for the first and last day is optional, while attendance for the remaining 3 days is mandatory.

2. Accommodation and Meals:

   1. Agami, the organisers of the Maker Residency, will provide triple sharing accommodation at a hotel of their choice for the duration of the Residency.

   2. Agami will also arrange for meals during the Maker Residency.

3. Travel and Expenses:

   1. Agami will not reimburse any expenses or cover travel arrangements for the Maker Residency. Any travel-related expenses incurred by the candidates shall be borne by them alone.

4. Code of Conduct:

   1. All attendees of the Maker Residency must adhere to our POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) policy and Community Guidelines for the duration of their participation.

   2. Any violation of the POSH policy or Community Guidelines may result in immediate termination of participation and removal from the Maker Residency.

5. Intellectual Property:

   1. Any intellectual property developed during the Maker Residency remains the property of the respective participants or organisations.

   2. However, by participating in the Maker Residency, you grant Agami a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, distribute, and display any content, materials, or ideas shared during the Residency for promotional or educational purposes.

6. Liability:

   1. Agami and its organisers shall not be held responsible for any loss, damage, injury, or inconvenience incurred during the Maker Residency.

   2. Participants are solely responsible for their personal belongings and valuables during the Residency.

7. Changes and Cancellations:

   1. Agami reserves the right to modify the Maker Residency schedule, content, or any other aspect of the program at their discretion.

8. Indemnification:

   1. By participating in the Maker Residency, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Agami, its organisers, and partners from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising out of your participation in the Residency.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction:

   1. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.

   2. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to an Online Dispute Resolution process through a provider decided by Agami.

By applying and attending the OpenNyAI Maker Residency, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
